Financial Management Workshop

This workshop was co-organised by HER Fund and Women in Finance Asia (WiFA) with the aim to improve the financial management efficiency of gender organizations, promoting more sustainable development of organisations. In the workshop, members from WiFA shared practical financial knowledge, including their understanding of different financial statements, the principles of financial management, marketing and fundraising strategies, etc. Each organisation was paired with mentors who work in financial management, so that they could offer advice tailored to the organisation’s actual needs.

Impact of the Event

• 23 members from 6 gender organisations participated in two online workshops to learn about the basic principles of financial management, as well as examine the financial management habits and challenges of the organisation.
• Gender organisations are able to network with peers and acquire skills in financial management based on their organisational needs.
