What is Organisational Capacity Strengthening?

People are the basic elements of an organisation. A group of people coming together to be in an organisation, achieving their goals and gaining accomplishment through taking action. No matter how big or small their organisation is, it takes a lot of skills and knowledge to maintain their operation, such as resource development, connecting communities, financial management, project planning, cross-team communication, etc.

HER Hub’s mission is to empower grassroots, marginalised, and emerging small gender organisations, supporting them to push forward gender equity sustainably and strategically so as to bring about social change and transformation. We understand that gender organisations have limited human resources, and often lack opportunities to gather resources. It is also difficult for them to obtain essential operational knowledge that matches with their needs, which makes their development extra challenging. Therefore, we design capacity-building workshops with different themes that cater to their needs, give advice and refer resources through this journey, consolidate the operational capabilities and efficiency of the organisation.
