Advance Project Design Using Gender Perspective

This workshop was co-organised by HER Fund and The Association for the Advancement of Feminism (AAF). In the first session, HER Fund shared an analytical framework for social change, discussing with allies who support gender equity on how to analyse the current situations of marginalised women from gender perspectives. In the second session, AAF introduced ” Advance Project Design Using Gender Perspective “, using case studies to help organisations think in gender perspectives in their projects and work. 

Impact of the Event 

• 34 participants from 24 gender organisations had higher awareness on gender-related issues, gaining insight into the grant of HER Fund that drives social change. 
• Through group discussions and case studies, participants could analyse the situation of marginalised women in a more sensitive way under the gender lens, trying to apply the framework to analyse the service targets of their organisations. 
• The participants expressed that they were inspired by the session, improved their sensitivity to gender-related issues, and were more able to recognise the significance of gender equity.
